NESA Forums & The National Conference

Cancellation Policy

An administrative fee of $150 per registrant will apply for cancellations received 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations after this date, but received 5 days prior to the event will forfeit 50% of total registration payable (GST included). Cancellations after this date will not be refunded; however, delegates may nominate a substitute in their place. Refunds will not be given for failure to attend.

Disclaimer: Event programs are confirmed at the date of advertising on the website and printing. However, NESA reserves the right to make changes to the programme and event dates at any time as circumstances dictate. Every effort will be made to provide a programme of equivalent standard and value.

Insurance Disclaimer: Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the event and book your travel, you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include (1) loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the forum; (2) loss through cancellation or rescheduling of the forum; (3) loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason including force majeure, medical expenses, loss or damage to person or property, additional expenses; and (4) repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. NESA cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange his or her own insurance.

All information about delegates collected as part of registration remains the secure property of NESA and will not be shared with any other parties unless it is permissible under law or provided for under privacy protection principles. Photos & Video: NESA reserves the right to take photographs of and film forum participants. Generally, these photos and film footage are used for NESA member purposes only and as such, they may be made available or displayed during the forum/s, or following the forum, they may be used by NESA for promotional purposes. If you do not wish us to take your photograph or film you, or if you would prefer we did not use your image for promotional purposes, please advise our photographer or camera operator or NESA directly.

Cancellation Policy

NESA aims to deliver Professional Development events which are of interest to members and contribute to the development of the industry. In order to ensure that NESA is able to carry out its Professional Development role and manage its budgetary obligations effectively and efficiently the following cancellation policy will apply to all forums and training sessions:

  • Minimum 5 days notice – Full refund on request or substitute participant
  • Less than 5 Days notice – Cancellation charge of 25% applies
  • Less than 3 Days notice – Full cost is payable, Substitution of participant is permitted

In the event NESA has to cancel a scheduled event at any time a full refund will apply.
Please note in order for our courses to go ahead we require minimum adequate numbers. We will endeavour to confirm all courses 5 days ahead of the scheduled date so please wait for this confirmation before booking any accommodation or travel.
This facilitator has borne significant expense in developing the contents, and for providing continual quality improvement research
for this workshop. It is only fair that NESA respectfully requests that participants do not record or film this workshop.

Cancellation Policy

NESA aims to deliver Professional Development forums which are of interest to members and contribute to the development of the Employment Services Industry. In order to ensure that NESA is able to
carry out its professional development role and manage its budgetary obligations effectively and efficiently, the
following cancellation policy will apply to all forums and sessions. In the event NESA has to cancel a scheduled
event at any time a full refund will apply.

  • Cancellation requests with a minimum of 15 working days notice will receive a full refund, less the cost of
    travel and accommodation arrangements that cannot be cancelled without a cost to NESA
  • Cancellation requests within the range 14 working days to 5 working days notice will receive a 50% refund,
    less the cost of travel and accommodation arrangements that cannot be cancelled without a cost to
    NESA
  • Cancellations of less than 5 working days notice will incur a cancellation charge of 100% of the total course fee and the cost of travel and accommodation arrangements that cannot be cancelled without a cost to NESA

Please note that all cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by NESA within the minimum working day range.
