Sometimes do you wish life was like a video game? Checkpoints, Restarts, Level Ups, Extra Lives, and all of the Coins you can Collect? Well, maybe life can’t be that way, but we can certainly look at our work processes in this way. In this webinar we will look at making work processes fun and engaging, with a little bit of friendly competition, even if it is just with yourself
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Set Goals (Checkpoints): Define short-term and long-term objectives to guide your progress.
- Progress Tracking (Scoreboard): Use checklists or progress bars to visualize task completion.
- Rewards (Coins/Power-ups): Give yourself small rewards and celebrate the wins for meeting goals to stay motivated
- Level Up: Take stock of task difficulty and new skills learned as you complete objectives.
- Extra Lives: Allow room for mistakes with ‘do-overs’ to encourage learning and innovation.
- Friendly Competition: Engage in light competitive activities with peers to boost performance.
- Scheduled Breaks (Pause/Restarts): Take regular breaks to prevent burnout and maintain productivity.
- Feedback Loop: Regularly assess and adjust your gamification strategy for continuous improvement.
- Narrative (Story Mode): Frame tasks as missions within a larger story for added engagement.
- Social Sharing (Multiplayer): Share progress with others for accountability and support.
