VANESSA SAYS:
“The NESA Family Violence Toolkit was launched at the 2017 NESA National Conference. You can read through the case studies and information by yourself or work through it as a group. I’d really recommend this package. It talks about how a client could be a victim, witness or perpetrator of family violence. Most importantly, it includes a video, some tip sheets on how to talk to your job seeker if you think they may be a victim, witness or perpetrator (e.g. ‘What to Say’), and links to organisations that can help you and your job seeker – so it’s a very practical resource. One day you may be a ‘first responder’.”
