For almost two decades NESA has supported both the Australian Government and local organisations to become world leaders in the provision of government contracted employment services. At the same time we have worked to build capacity of the industry to deliver world-class employment services across a broad geographical spectrum.
NESA is an innovative, collaborative partner in delivering tailored, market-specific policy support and guidance, advisory services, programme design and capacity building, including tools and resources, across welfare systems, employment services, labour market information systems and school attendance.

NESA Professional Development
NESA works to achieve the ongoing development, professional capacity and increase recognition of the employment services industry and its personnel. NESA works in partnership and collaboration with relevant bodies in the vocational, educational and training sector with regards to the development and implementation of relevant accredited training for the industry. Employment Services Industry Standards (ESIS)
The Employment Services Industry Standards (ESIS) is an industry led initiative. This initiative was conceived by an NESA industry working party focused on the quality of Australian employment and related services. ESIS aims to provide organisations delivering employment and related services a quality assurance framework which supports excellence in organisational management and service delivery. ESIS has been structured to enable organisations to be audited by third party auditors and in this way independently confirming implementation and organisational competence. Employment Services Institute (ESI)
The Employment Services Institute (ESI) is dedicated to staff working within the employment services industry. Membership of the ESI is designed to provide a basis for establishing and maintaining high standards of professional practice in the delivery of services to clients by Professional Members. ESI is designed to reach the professional development needs of individuals across all levels of the industry.
