Carmen has been involved with Ohana for Youth and its direction for over 12 years. Carmen’s involvement in the organisation extends multiple capacities including program management and facilitation, CEO, Board member, Business Development and currently General Manager for Ohana for Youth and the Commonwealth Government’s Transition to Work service- Gen Z Employment As the Former manager of School Business Community Partnership Brokers Program, The Smith Family and Chair of the Partnership Broker National and State Networks, Carmen brings a national approach to the development of networks and partnerships for our organisation. As the Chair of the Partnership Broker National Network, Carmen had the opportunity to advocate at a Federal level for the voice of young people and brings this facilitative passion to Ohana’s advantage. With a Bachelor degree and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and a Graduate Certificate in Career Counselling, Carmen’s experience includes countless years working across education, hospitality and most importantly the youth space. “I believe in a bipartisan approach to young people and opportunities for our young people” If Carmen is not working endlessly on steering positive outcomes toward our youth you will most likely find her revitalising in her other favourite part of the world, Vietnam.
