The National Employment Services Association (NESA) has been the leading peak body for Australia’s world-renowned contracted Employment Services sector since the sector’s creation in 1998.
NESA helps Employment Services Providers to offer their very best to job seekers – particularly to disadvantaged job seekers – as well as to employers. Our members include not-for-profit and private organisations who offer jobactive, Disability Employment Services (DES), the Community Development Programme (CDP), and other complementary programmes such as Transition to Work (TTW).
We lead, collaborate and engage with key stakeholders throughout Australia, always focussed on a holistic, positive notion of employment.
Our work continues to support Government initiatives which have made Australia into a world leader in the provision of government-contracted employment services. We deliver tailored, market-specific policy support and guidance, advisory services, programme design, professional development and capacity building.

NESA has led the delivery of the Remote School Attendance Strategy since 2014 where we have successfully delivered over 120 RSAS local training forums which have been attended by over 1600 RSAS workers. NESA continues to work with PM&C to enhance the RSAS strategy introducing online training, accredited training and throughout 2016...
For almost two decades NESA has supported both the Australian government and local organisations to become world leaders in the provision of government contracted employment services and is an active member of World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES) and the OECD Local Economic and Employment (LEED)...

NESA’s team consists of a dedicated group of professionals who have a depth and breadth of experience in employment services policy, programmes and practice through the not for profit, for profit and government sectors, as well as related areas including education and training, disability, health and Indigenous services. We embrace inclusion and diversity, with many ages and cultures represented. Over 5% of our staff are Indigenous Australians. We are proactively led by our CEO, whose own experience spans the totality of the Employment Services sector from its earliest manifestation to its current form, and our dedication and commitment enables us to provide the highest standard of representation, advocacy, support and guidance to our members, and the sector more broadly.
We work well together, sharing the goal of supporting and developing the dynamic sector that we represent in concert with our industry partners and of seeing the projects that we manage through to their best possible completion.
